What types of projects are NOT eligible for the STORYHIVE 2022 Indigenous Storytellers Edition?

Any project that does not fit into the category of fiction or nonfiction including but not limited to mockumentaries, music videos, animation, episodic (pilot episode okay), lifestyle shows, reality TV, talk shows, “How to” documentaries, docusoaps, news and reporting, video games and other applications, websites, and non-Canadian content.

STORYHIVE will not accept one-sided political advocacy projects and projects that do not present a balanced perspective on a topic. Presenting a balanced perspective means stories must fairly represent all sides of a story.

For documentary, the projects must be factual (based on research).

See our eligibility section in the 2022 Indigenous Storytellers Edition Submission Guidelines and Rules.
